The Ack Women Empowerment Program, onboarded to the Five Talents Family in 2019, aims to transform the social, economic, and spiritual lives of women in Marsabit Diocese. Anchored on the Mother Union department’s foundation, the program has provided adult literacy and financial literacy sessions to empower women with essential skills. To date, 901 members have joined, with half completing adult literacy classes, which have boosted their confidence, literacy, and ability to manage finances. Additionally, financial literacy training has enabled women to access loans, start businesses, and enhance their economic independence. This holistic approach has created lasting change, improving both the economic stability and spiritual growth of the community.

Rejected by her community and with a failed court case, Stella could have given up, but instead, she found the strength to persevere, through the ACK Kambi ya Juu Women’s Group. she not only learned to read and write, but also took out loans to buy goats, sell them at market, and provide for her children.
