THIKA TALENTS SACCO
ACK Thika Talents Sacco represents the very first expression of Five Talents Kenya’s vision our “first child” in the journey toward economic empowerment in Kenya. Evolving from the pioneering Thika Community Development Trust (TCDT) established in 2004, the Sacco was formally registered in 2016 to institutionalize and expand access to affordable, community-driven financial services. Today, it operates through five Financial Services Agencies (FSAs) and supports 36 active Trust Groups, serving over 5,000 members, 70% of whom are women. With over KES 183 million in savings mobilized and KES 192 million in loans disbursed, ACK Thika Talents Sacco continues to model the power of grassroots finance—demonstrating that sustainable transformation begins when communities are trusted to lead their own development.
FAITHFUL SERVANT SACCO (EMBU)
Faithful Servant Sacco began as the Embu Diocese Community Development Trust Program (GIKIMBE) in 2011, aiming to support rural entrepreneurs especially women through accessible financial services and financial literacy training. Rooted in table banking and trust group formation, the program empowered members to save, lend, and invest collectively.
In 2018, the initiative transitioned into Faithful Servant Sacco, a registered cooperative society serving communities across Embu, Kirinyaga, Tharaka Nithi, Machakos, and Kitui counties, as well as members in the diaspora. Built on Christian values and a co-guarantee lending model, the Sacco promotes savings, resource mobilization, and affordable credit, helping members build resilience and create sustainable livelihoods.
ACK Imani Talents Sacco Nakuru
ACK Imani Talents Sacco emerged from the Nakuru Community Development Trust (CDT), a microfinance initiative launched in 2013 by the Anglican Diocese of Nakuru. Built on the principle of “Starting Small, Growing Big, and Creating Wealth,” the program focused on savings mobilization, affordable credit, capacity building, and micro-enterprise support.
In 2018, the Trust transitioned into a fully registered SACCO, marking the fastest growth trajectory among Five Talents Kenya’s CDT programs. Today, ACK Imani Talents Sacco serves members across Nakuru and surrounding counties, offering inclusive, affordable, and values-driven financial services that empower communities and promote sustainable livelihoods.
Neema Talents Sacco Kericho
ACK Kericho Talents Sacco is the newest SACCO to emerge from Five Talents Kenya’s network, transitioning from the Kericho Community Development Trust (KCDT) a program established in 2016 by the Anglican Diocese of Kericho. Originally formed to empower rural entrepreneurs through savings, affordable credit, and capacity building, KCDT quickly became a trusted financial platform for micro-enterprises and underserved communities.
On 27th September 2024, KCDT officially transitioned into a fully registered SACCO, solidifying its place as a sustainable, member-owned financial institution. Built on Christian values and a strong people-centred model, ACK Kericho Talents Sacco continues to deliver dignified, accessible, and community-rooted financial services across Kericho and surrounding areas advancing financial inclusion one group at a time.
